The planning, design, permitting, and construction process took place over twenty-one months. The five-acre site included the assembly of several properties that required consolidation, considerable clearing, creative landscape design, and special storm water engineering to develop. The building is composed of 27,000 feet of office, meeting and assembly spaces, including indoor and outdoor ‘kitchen’ areas. Construction materials and systems composing the building shell included applications of Architectural Concrete “Renaissance Stone”, Buechel Stone, unitized curtain wall panels, and PVC roofing. The result has been one of the most dynamic planning, design, and construction efforts Hezner/HCS has participated on. The Hezner/HCS team was involved with every aspect of the planning, design, and specification process, including all furniture, signage, access control and equipment systems specifications, bidding, and installation. All special systems were designed into the project during the construction document phase of work so that all architectural and engineering provisions were properly delineated and coordinated before and during, the bidding process. The result serves as a premiere example of the quality and control that The Hezner Corporation offers and can execute on a high profile, complex and dynamic project.
